There are many different ways to generate income over the Internet. The two that I find that work best for me are Affiliate Marketing and Google Adsense.
1) Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is one of the most popular means of an income over the Internet. There are many companies, large and small that have products and/or services for sale. These companies often look for other people to advertise their products for them (affiliates). You, as the affiliate advertise the products for these companies and for every sale you make, you earn a commission. There are literary 100’s of different affiliate programs available on the Internet today selling just about any imaginable, like eBooks, software, holidays, air tickets, consumables, you name it. The commission you earn on these products can be as high as 75% or even more! The selling of digital products such as eBooks and software are more popular amongst affiliates as they tend to earn the highest commissions.
For many of affiliate programs you need your own website to advertise these products on and as we know, websites can be extremely expensive to run. Fortunately there are other programs that don’t require you have a website such as CLICKBANK and PAYDOTCOM. So you can advertise by using PPC (pay-per-click advertising) on Google, Yahoo or some of the smaller search engines, which can work out a lot cheaper. Another alternative is to start your own blog with your affiliate links in it. Blogs are free to create at blogger.com, wordpress.com and many more. The topic of your blog being in the same lines of the products you are trying to promote.
If you’re a hard worker, then Affiliate marketing online can earn you big cheques every month.
2) Google Adsense
If you own a website or blog, then Google Adsense is an absolute must!
On many websites and blogs you will often see ads sponsored by Google. These ads are normally seen on the sides of the web page or within the text.
Every time one of these ads is clicked on, money is spent as well as earned. The company running the ad through Google will pay every time someone clicks on their advert and the person that owns the website that the ad is on, gets a portion of that money. Some ads will pay a little as 1c/click whereas others could pay as much as $5, $10, $20 or more per click!
So all you need to do is open a Google Adsense account, get the required HTML from your account then insert the HTML into your website or blog.
The content in your website will determine the type of ads you will have shown, for example; if your website is all about “model trains” then the ads shown by Google are normally of that same topic, thereby increasing the chances of someone clicking on your ads.
If you don’t have a website or blog, then get one now and start making extra money.
Affiliate Marketing and Google AdSense are two very powerful tools used to Make Money Online, so why not give them a try.

Before starting your own business
This article is yet another addition in the long list of 6 ways, 8 ways and 10 ways of improving your business. I’m however listing 5 things to consider before you start up “your own” business, i.e., before you venture into Self Employment. This article however, is not in the form of a newsletter from an entrepreneur or a well-versed business writer, business tycoon or polymath. On the contrary, this article echoes the views of a common yet experienced business professional who has witnessed big and small blunders while opening up a personal business. The aim of this article thus is to provide some counseling before you open up a business. I’m assuming that you have read such advice earlier, but then, you never know when a moment of epiphany arrives!
Before you start a business, see if you have:-
Enough Capital: Telling you to stock enough capital before starting a business is no revelation in itself. My point however is- make sure if you have enough capital for optimum utilization of your business. Money breeds money; but an advantageous use of money breeds a large amount of money. Hence, while opening a business, money incurred is not only on real estate, resources and basic amenities. Money is needed for marketing campaigns as well, and an optimum utilization of marketing money would secure you a place in the industry.
Self motivating skills: When you are starting your own business, it is of prime importance to realize that there would be no-one to ‘tell’ you to take the action. You must use the ability to decide and take action yourself. This is the main difference between an employee and an entrepreneur. Be self motivated, particularly in situations where you have to think on the feet and decide!
Passion about your business: Just as you choose your subjects and career suiting to your area of interest, your business should also pertain to your area of specialization. Business is a means to money, and means should never be compromised for the end. So take up the task that you are interested in, and that you enjoy doing.
An Accountant: Whether your business is large scaled, medium scaled, small scaled or micro sized, the need of a tax adviser or an accountant is pertinent. The need becomes all the more important when you are just opening the business. Your tax adviser can help you get rebate on the taxes and maximize your profits.
9 hours a day mindset: In order to be successful in your business, today’s environment demands entrepreneurs’ omnipresence. That is, you have to (not virtually) be at all places at all times. So if you have the ability and interest to put those extra efforts in the work you do, chances are that your business would be super successful.
It’s easy to open a business. Keeping it open however is a task. Hope these points have been of some help to the budding businessmen.

Business Tips and Plans
BUSINESS TIPS AND TRICKS
1. Here's a sales mantra. Find out whom your would-be clients hate. That knowledge can help you push them towards your deal, particularly if they are sitting on the fence ready to teeter off to one side or the other.
2. One of the best sales techniques is to ask when can you meet the client and how soon - and then show up.
3. Suggest the same idea to two different key executives in the same company. If you can get them to agree separately that the idea is sound then, when you put them together, a sale is probably going to be the result.
4. Sales presentation made to a large group of people is a different ball game. If you try to sell to more than one person at the same time, you are introducing into the sale the dynamics of their inter-relationships, which can do nothing but detract from your purpose.
5. People in business want to do business with winners. It helps to make your present customers aware of either your own or your company's big wins in the past. Out-and-out bragging is not a very good idea, but it can be done subtly in a million other ways.
6. Here's a negotiation tip. The point of negotiation is to reach an agreement that is mutually advantageous to both parties. To make it a contest of egos can only work against you.
7. Acknowledge the other party's feelings. This is the oldest psychological technique in the world and works just as well in negotiations as it does in any other form of human relations.
8. The pressure to get a deal done can make you say and do things that aren't in your best interest. If the other party knows you have a deadline, they really don't need to know anything else.
9. Time itself - or the passing of it - can also be one of your most valuable negotiating allies. Anxiety and desire to get a deal done breed hyper-kinetic behaviour. There is a natural tendency to speed up the negotiation process rather than to slow it down. Force yourself to resist this urge, and take advantage of it in others.
10. Positioning is the key to a successful product. Always associate your product with positive values - positive home values, positive environment values, or positive values of excellence. Inevitably, these produce positive results.
11. Learn to master what is a conducive sales atmosphere. Just as there is a right time to make a sale there is usually a right place for it as well.
12. A chance encounter at a non-business locale can also present an opportunity. For example, running into a business associate at a beach or tennis club. You can bring up business topics, and follow them up later at office.
13. Never forget this sales mantra: It is so much easier to sell someone what they want to buy than it is to convince them to buy what you are selling.
14. If you are keen on a sales pitch, find out who does the buying. Every company has its system, procedures, and pecking order for making decisions. You should know these, if you want to win a bid.
15. If Edison had gone to business school, we would all be reading by larger candles. So, often business demands innovation, unconventional thinking.
16. Listen aggressively. Keep pausing. A slightly uncomfortable silence will make people say even more. Try it.
17. Talk less. That way you will learn more, hear more, see more and make fewer blunders.
18. Observe aggressively and learn to use it to advantage. You don't need to read a book on body language to interpret certain gestures.
19. Business situations always come down to people situations. And the sooner you know about the person you are dealing with, the more effective you are going to be.
20. Observation can yield rich results. Remember that people communicate with their eyes in business situations when they can't use words.
21. Mull over this, and master the principle. Business is a constant process of keeping your own guard up, while encouraging others to lower theirs.
22. Go with first impressions, but only after carefully scrutinizing them.
23. If you are about to make a presentation/phone call, take a moment to think about what, what reaction you want. It may yield good results.
24. Be detached. If you force yourself to step back from any biz situation, particularly one that is heating up, your powers of observation will increase.
25.Authoritative, profession manner the way speaking skills very important always, approach as a friend, honest, pure character of the person. These all neccessary for business man.
